Girls holding signs at Life Chain Oct 4, 2009 in Melbourne, Florida

Another Life Chain is over, and we all hope that many hearts were changed by our efforts on Sunday, Oct 4th in Melbourne, Fl.

Everyone who participated all did a fantastic job with all the behind the scenes work that goes into planning and executing a Life Chain.   Lots of phone calls, e-mails, conversations with pastors, table setup, carrying signs, videotaping, and of course standing for one hour in the 86 degree heat (!) … all of this was well worth it!

Our preliminary count shows over 500 people participated, which would make this our largest Life Chain ever — congratulations! We even got some decent, if less than outstanding, media coverage.  Florida Today published an article about our Life Chain. Don’t believe their head count as our videotape doesn’t lie.

It was great seeing you all, including many familiar faces as well as new ones. We thank God for ensuring everyone’s safety, providing good weather, and hopefully guiding those who needed to hear the truth about the unborn to be driving along New Haven Avenue yesterday afternoon (10/4/09).

We thank the following churches who participated in the Life Chain.
